June 1 already?  Where did the month of May go?

We spent most of yesterday up at my mom and dad’s house.  Evan was helping with an extensive pool project and I… well I got to just sit around! =P

The liner in the pool needed to be replaced and it can be a long, tiresome job.  My dad enlisted the help of Evan, Joe and his friend Aaron as well as my dad’s friend Mike.  Dana and her friend Dan showed up to help for a while too.  Together they all ripped out the old liner, spent a lot of time fixing the siding and evening out the dirt underneath and then carefully aligning the new liner.  What a job.  Those guys were out there for hours in the sun (which finally decided to come out!).

Austin played in the sandbox for a while and Emily and I sat in the shade to watch.  It was nice to just hang out with everyone.  I can’t wait until the pool is filled back up and the kiddies can go swimming.  Here are some pictures from our afternoon.
